How Does the Jio Rs 15 Pack Work?
- You recharge the ₹15 pack in MyJio or from any recharge platform.
- The 24 hour timer starts when the pack is activated, not at midnight.
- During these 24 hours you can use unlimited data while connected to Jio 5G.
- When 24 hours are over, the pack ends and your normal plan benefits continue.
- Your base plan stays active. This pack does not replace it.
- The 5G data works only when your phone is latched on Jio True 5G and the device supports 5G.
- Official note in MyJio: the pack has only data benefits, with 200 MB of 4G data, after which the speed is unlimited at 64 Kbps (this applies on 4G).
All Benefits of the Jio Rs 15 Pack
- Unlimited 5G data for 24 hours on Jio True 5G.
- Very low price of ₹15, cheaper than most 1 day data packs.
- Good for heavy use: large downloads, game updates, 4K streaming, live sports and online gaming.
- 200 MB 4G data as backup, then unlimited at 64 Kbps, if 5G is not available.
- Hotspot sharing with laptop or tablet is reported as possible.
- All circles: reported to be live across India.
- Easy recharge from MyJio, jio.com, retail outlets and third-party apps.
Speed Cap and Fair Usage (FUP)
The official MyJio banner gives these speed details:
- On Jio True 5G: unlimited 5G data, with no data cap, as long as your phone is latched on the Jio True 5G network and the device is 5G supported.
- On 4G: you get 200 MB of 4G data, and after that the internet continues unlimited at 64 Kbps. So the only stated speed cap is on 4G, not on 5G.
- Jio has not published any 5G speed limit in Mbps. Your real 5G speed depends on coverage, tower load and your phone.
If you try the pack, do a speed test and share your result in the comments, it will help other readers.

- You must be a Jio prepaid user.
- You need a 5G supported smartphone with 5G enabled in settings. Unlimited 5G applies only when you are latched on Jio True 5G.
